Connecting Quack AI to Zendesk Conversations API

Adding Quack AI to Sunshine Conversations (aka real-time chat on Zendesk) can be done in a few easy steps!

Step 1: Create an API token

  1. Login to your Zendesk and go to the Admin page.

  2. Scroll down to the “Conversations API” tab under “APIs”.

  3. Click on “Create API key”.

  4. Name the API key “Quack AI” and copy the “App ID”, “Key ID” and “Secret Key”.

Step 2: Create a webhook

  1. Login to your Zendesk and go to the Admin page.

  2. Scroll down to “Conversation Integrations” under “Integrations”

  3. Click “Create Integration”

  4. Enter the following values:

    1. Name: Quack AI Webhook

    2. Webhook endpoint URL:

    3. Webhook subscriptions: Check “Conversation message”

  5. Copy the “Webhook ID” and “Shared Secret”

  6. Click save!

The recommended way to send these securely is to share a private documents via Google Drive or Dropbox. In any case, send these values over to your Quack AI Success Manager and we’ll take it from there!

  • App ID

  • Webhook ID

  • Shared Secret

Step 3: Send these values to Quack AI
