Front - setup ongoing sync

Adding Continous sync between Quack and Zendesk can be done in a few easy steps!

Step 1 - Navigate to the settings page

Step 2 - Press "Create rule"

Step 3 - Set up Name

Just fill in any reasonable name

Step 4 - Set up triggers

set up following triggers:

  • Inbound message is recived

  • Inbound message is recived (new conversation)

  • new comment is added by Any teammate, Body doesnt contain “QuackText” (This will promise we will get notification for all comments )

  • Conversation is reopend

  • Any tag is added

  • Assignee changes to any teammate

  • Outbound message is sent (new conversation)

  • Outbound reply is sent (existing conversation)

  • Assignee is removed

  • Any tag is removed

How triggers should look like

(Optional) Step 4.1 - Set up conditions

If you want to sync just specific inboxes, set the condition to filter just the inboxes that belongs to specific "Teammates groups"

Step 5 - Set up Action

Add action and choose "Send to webhook" ( if for any reason you can't find it, check the troubleshooting section in this article)

Set the following URL:

https://eu.api.thequack.ai/events/front

Step 6 - Press Create


Troubleshooting

If for some reason you can't add webhooks, navigate to your App store ( inside Front platform )

use the search → search "webhook install"

That will add to your account the ability to send webhooks
